700+ Contradictions of teachings of Bro. Eli

What will you say about alleged 700+ contradictions of Bro. Eli Soriano's teachings being aired at INC TV Channels GEM TV, NET 25 and INC TV Network?

Since they were merely 'allegations', it is something not worthy talking about. Christians are taught in the Bible to avoid foolish and unlearned questions, since they only cause nonsense arguments. Let's read II Timothy 2:23, "But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes."

It seems that we are not progressing in faith for some reasons that we are more acquainted in doing things that are not actually our priority as Christians. We must reiterate that our primary duty as human beings is
to fear the Lord and obey His commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13). As Christians, we should remain in good works as the purpose of our calling (Titus 3:14, Acts 13:1-2, and I Peter 1:10). However, it seems that we are doing things that won't bring fruits at all, that instead of edification of our faith, we've been stagnant in doing things we aren't supposed to do. Though these things are considered "good" or "lawful", but it may be appropriate or cannot edify our faith at all. Let's read 1 Corinthians 10:23 KJV,

"All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not."

Wikipedia defines an ad hominem argument consists of replying to an argument or factual claim by attacking or appealing to a characteristic or belief of the person making the argument or claim, rather than by addressing the substance of the argument or producing evidence against the claim. We've been hearing detractors everywhere who keep on pointing out others' personal characteristics to raise an argument. An example is when people are pointing out Bro. Eli being alleged of rape to Daniel Veridiano. We very well know that this is merely an allegation, and that there is no proof that he did, so what's the use discussing this matter? Another one is his alleged 700+ contradictions, which is now being raised by eaglefighter.

Do you suppose we should answer such nonsense arguments? If we answer based from our subjective perspectives, do you think they will believe us in any way? Should we able to rebut their allegation, won't the nonbelievers think that we're only just the same, throwing mud with each other? If we talk about another's personal characteristics, does it edify our faith at all, or just raising useless striving about things we aren't supposed to be talking about?

Is Bro. Eli preaching himself? Should the allegations be correct, does it make anyone holy? Granting that he made lots of contradictions, how does it affect you as a Christian? To talk about this nonsense arguments would be vain, and even doing harm more than good, for nonbelievers would not be convinced that we were
Christians having such kind of attitude. Should Bro. Eli made such mistakes, isn't he the one responsible for his own actions? Won't he be liable to God if ever he is guilty of such things? Now, who are we to meddle with another's personal business? Won't we consider ourselves if we are already upright in His sight before pointing out another's errors?

Let's read Matthew 7:2-5 for further understanding,

"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."

Yes, they had presented 700+ contradictions of Bro. Eli, but how about the validity of such claims? A famous example is the "pag ako naging presidente" issue. They state that Bro. Eli desires to run for Presidency, which contradicts what he said before. However, they cut some of the lines (mangled his video tape) to make it appear as a contradiction. However, here is a proof that their claim is INVALID through lying by omission.

I remember my professor declared "case closed" to a case presentation when she said, "if one part is dishonest, everything is dishonest". Though it may appear as hasty generalization, the credibility of those who make such contradictions greatly affect their claims.

A tongue guided by the Holy Spirit cannot speak TRUE contradictions.

A guided tongue speaks the word of God, something that is hard to understand.

God's words NEVER CONTRADICT and are CLEAR for those who understand.
