Disclaimer: This article is based from the topic outlines prepared by the MCGI presiding minister Bro. Eliseo F.
Soriano, as presented orally by him and other appointed ministers to the members, usually in Tagalog dialect, though sometimes other languages are used.As they deliver the topic, I do note taking, writing the details, then reconstruct my words, hence I make this kind of written discourse. Though the words used to construct the texts (except Bible verses and quoted statements) are my composition, the ideas presented here are not mine, which I believe came from Bro. Eli (in the same manner, he will say that these ideas are not his own but from the Spirit teaching him).

Let's ask the Bible who is the most wicked entity in the universe. A detractor of a counterfeit religion once accused our preacher for being more wicked than Satan. However, the Bible is speaking about "the wicked", a single entity. Let's read Job 9:24, "The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He covers the faces of its judges; if it is not He, then who is it?" and I John 5:19, "We know that we are of God, and all the world lies in evil." St. Paul described this creature as god of this world in II Corinthians 4:4, "in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them." The devil even bragged about the world to he his, which he used to tempt Jesus Christ. Let's read Matthew 4:8-10, "Again, the Devil took Him up into a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me. Then Jesus said to him, Go, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve." This being is the one blinding the minds of the unfaithful. It is indeed Satan, as written in Revelation 12:9, "And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." No other persona did the same degree of deceiving the whole world but the Devil.

His capability of doing evil is described in II Corinthians 11:3, "But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ." That serpent (Satan) deceives both Adam and Eve (read Genesis 3:1-15), targets the minds of mankind using diferent ways of doing evil. This is how he do it, in Romans 8:7, "[i]because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be." Since the carnal mind is enmity against God, he lets mankind think of earthly things by various works of the flesh using his devices, which catches his prey without the victim knowing of being attacked. Let's read II Corinthians 2:11, "so that we should not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his devices." An assumption will be, Satan does not directly say to his victim, "Do evil! Do it wickedly!", like how cartoon villains are doing against the protagonists. We must also know that Satan doesn't use force for us to do evil, but he prefer men to do evil by their own. He instead uses a bait, which he will offer to be seems-to-be-good to men's eyes, but when you try to grab it, then you're now a victim! The scenario is pictured out in the temptation in the garden of Eden. For sure that event requires a lot of time to transpire, for Adam and Eve receives communication with Him in an audible voice and they are well informed about His commandment not to eat the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and they are warned about death if they do so. Another assumption maybe, Satan might be doing a lot of encouragement for them to do so. He might (possibly) have said, "Is it too hard for you to even lift your finger for it? is it too difficult? It's not as if you have to spend so much, or anything, but a simple favor such as biting it is not too hard for you to do..." But according to the Bible, Eve finally ate the fruit together with Adam. So, Satan's devices are usually pleasing to eyes, like how it describes that fruit in Genesis 3:6, "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasing to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make wise, she took of its fruit, and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate." If you are not that cautious, you'll can also be caught because of the depths of his deceit. Let's read Revelation 2:24, "But to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak, I will put on you no other burden."

The topic mentions about the evil things being done by the children of the devil which are not done by Satan. Does it suggest that the children of the devil are more wicked than their father the devil? Still, the fact remains that Satan the Devil is the most evil entity in the universe, but let's now check out things about the capabilities of the children of the devil. Let's read Matthew 23:15, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you compass sea and the dry land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." As we can see, those proselytes are being made more the child of hell than the scribes and Pharisees. The question is, can Satan make proselytes more wicked than Him? Since Satan is the most wicked, he cannot produce other being more wicked than him. Like the false prophets in counterfeit religious groups instructing antichrist acts like various religious murders in which most of the time, the leadres themselves didn't do for themselves (remember, they are in sheep's clothing), but the members are doing most of the atrocities which their religious leaders taught them to do.

Another one is in Acts 13:8-10, "But Elymas the conjurer (for so his name is, if translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. Then Saul (who is also Paul), filled with the Holy Spirit, set his eyes on him and said, O son of the Devil, full of all deceit and all craftiness, enemy of all righteousness, will you not stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?" Children of the devil tend not to stop doing evil things as per written in Proverbs 4:16, "For they do not sleep, except when they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall." But Satan the Devil, does he have the time not to continuously doing his deception? Let's read the temptation of the Devil to our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 4:1-11, "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit up into the wilderness, to be tempted by the Devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterwards hungry. And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But He answered and said, It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Then the Devil took Him up into the holy city and set Him upon a pinnacle of the Temple. And he said to Him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down. For it is written, "He shall give His angels charge concerning You, and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time You dash Your foot against a stone." Jesus said to him, It is written again, "You shall not tempt the Lord your God." Again, the Devil took Him up into a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me. Then Jesus said to him, Go, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve." Then the Devil left him. And behold, angels came and ministered to Him." As we can see, after the series of temptation to our Lord, the Devil finally left him. The Devil offered his first temptation, "And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.", but Jesus answered him using the word of God, "But He answered and said, It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." You see, the Devil shifts to another temptation, that he didn't make further follow-up questions to our Lord, for Satan knew that he cannot rebuke God's words that are irrefutable. However, when dealing with his children, they will keep on posting endless replies, ignoring Biblical facts and remain to their own understanding. Counterfeit Christians rather not stop maligning the genuine ones and if they could no longer endure the sound doctrine, they instead use ad hominem tactics to destroy another's character.

We shall ask, why did Satan stopped reasoning further when the Word of God is used against him? Nebuchadnezzar was being compared with Lucifer, another name of Satan who was once a morning star and later go against God in Isaiah 14:12-15, "How you are fallen from the heavens, O shining star, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart, I will go up to the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will go up above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the Pit." Satan knows he cannot be equal with God as per written in Isaiah 46:9, "Remember former things from forever; for I am God, and no other is God, even none like Me," God, who is capable to read the hearts, became aware of Lucifer's (Satan) ambition, but as you can see, Satan did not desire a position higher than the Most High. It is because he knows God and he recognizes His authority. Even the demons knew how powerful He was through His Son. Let's read Matthew 8:28-29, "And when He had come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, two demon-possessed ones met Him, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one might pass by that way. And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?" If God speaks, Satan doesn't afford to refute Him. However, children of the Devil are not afraid speaking against God's words and are not recognizes the authority of His words, for they only pretend they know God, but their works speaks of otherwise. Let's read Titus 1:16 , "They profess that they know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and reprobate to every good work."

The conclusion for this matter: We didn't say that such children of the Devil are more wicked than Satan. It is a fact that Satan is indeed the most wicked entity; his wickedness is unmatchable. However, his children are capable of doing some things in which theit father are not doing, like making proselytes more wicked than themselves, and not to cease in doing wickedly (the Devil rather shifts to another form of deception). Like in the story of Job that when he saw Job's endurance, he rather shifts to another form of temptation and after God had granted Job's reward, the Bible didn't mention that Satan used those same temptations over and over again.
